North Island Compassion Club raided, members scramble to find medicine!

The North Island Compassion Club, after 10 years of providing medicinal marijuana in Courtenay, BC without incident, was raided by the RCMP drug squad on Friday afternoon. Two members of the club were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. The police confiscated seven different strains of dried bud, cookies, hash, and money that was meant to buy more medicine. The club has been scrambling to recover over the weekend, having to make several emergency deliveries to members with critical needs.
